Between 2003 and 2011, I pursued a sideline as a music journalist, publishing reviews, interviews, news articles and feature stories in national print publications (Down Beat, JazzTimes), online portals (All About Jazz, JazzWest), and elsewhere. I also spent five years on the board of the Jazz Jornalists Association.
