As co-leader of Evernote’s creative studio team, I managed owned channels, guided content strategy, and shaped brand messaging to reach a global audience. I was also literally the voice of the company, hosting podcasts and narrating videos.

  • Led the editorial vision and messaging for Evernote’s evolving brand, developed a new content platform strategy, provided editorial creative direction for global marketing campaigns, edited corporate comms.

  • Grew Evernote’s Medium channel to more than 115K followers and global blog audience to 350K visitors/month through a content strategy tailored to the strengths of each channel.

  • Creator, producer, and host of the “Taking Note” and “Focus Culture” podcasts, earning half a million total downloads and repeatedly reaching top 10 in category on iTunes. Starred in “Ever Better Challenge” campaign videos earning 350K views across social channels.

  • Wrote/edited all copy for an overhaul of Evernote's monetization program, including product UX, marketing, and PR. This project helped Evernote become cashflow-positive and earned a 2018 Marketers that Matter® Transformation Journey Award.

  • Directed in-house, freelance, and agency copywriters and content strategists. Also managed Evernote’s social media team for 2 years.

Blurb pioneered the self-publishing revolution, raising the bar for independently produced print books, e-books, and magazines. My roles included content marketing, content strategy, brand, copywriting, editing, and web production.

  • Conceived, developed, wrote, and ran a multichannel creative program for aspiring novelists including live webinars, podcasts, blog posts, newsletters, product integrations, and downloadable resources.

  • Wrote and edited marketing copy for Blurb’s company website, email campaigns, and blog, as well as product documentation, UX copy, and help content.

  • Managed transition of marketing website from Ruby on Rails to Drupal CMS and localization into 7 languages. Provided content, SEO, and architecture guidance for a complete site redesign.

MOTODEV was a one-stop resource for software developers across Motorola’s product lines and OS platforms, supporting Android, Linux, and Java. I led editorial and content acquisition for the MOTODEV web portal.

  • Project manager for the launch of a proprietary mobile app store, the Motorola Solutions Catalog website, and an online service provider directory for third-party developers.

  • Wrote and edited case studies, website copy, program recruitment materials, technical documentation, blog posts, and an internal style guide. Ghostwrote thought leadership content.

  • Defined use cases, information architecture, CMS requirements, and testing plans for program websites.
